Detergent grade Sodium Tripolyphosphate STPP 94%
Sodium tripolyphosphate, appearance: white granules or powder. It is a kind of amorphous water-soluble linear polyphosphate, which is commonly used in foods as a moisture retaining agent, quality improver, pH adjuster, metal chelating agent, and the like.
Sodium tripolyphosphate is formed by neutralization of phosphoric acid with sodium chloride to sodium orthophosphate and condensation. There are two methods for producing phosphoric acid: wet method and thermal method. In the wet method, phosphoric acid and inorganic acid (usually sulfuric acid or hydrochloric acid) are reacted, and after extraction and purification, phosphoric acid is obtained. In the thermal method, the phosphate rock is calcined together with coke and silica in an electric furnace, and the phosphorus mineral is reduced to phosphorus, and then oxidized and hydrated to obtain phosphoric acid.

III. Sodium Tripolyphosphate / STPP Usage:
(1)Sodium Tripolyphosphate / STPP can be used as a detergent additive and can also be used in petroleum, metallurgy, mining, papermaking, water treatment, and the like.
(2)Sodium Tripolyphosphate / STPP is mainly used as an additive for synthetic detergents, used as a soap synergist and to prevent the soap from depositing and blooming.
(3)Sodium Tripolyphosphate / STPP has a strong emulsifying effect on lubricating oils and fats and can be used to adjust the pH of buffered soaps.
(4)Sodium Tripolyphosphate / STPP can be used as a water softener for industrial water.
(5)Sodium Tripolyphosphate / STPP can be used as a dyeing assistant for leather.
(6)Sodium Tripolyphosphate / STPP,can be used in paint, kaolin, magnesia, calcium carbonate and other industries formulated as a dispersant suspension.
(7)Sodium Tripolyphosphate / STPP can be used as a drilling mud dispersant.
(8)Sodium Tripolyphosphate / STPP is used as an anti-oil stain in the paper industry.
(9)Sodium Tripolyphosphate / STPP is used in the food industry as a quality improver for cans, juice drinks, dairy products, and soy milk, as well as a moisture retention agent. Mainly for ham canned tenderized, canned bean in the beans softened.
(10)Sodium Tripolyphosphate / STPP can also be used as a softener and thickener.
